An AI-first film studio with ten years of production behind it. We make the work conventional production can't reach, and we make a lot of it, fast.
Who we are
Rovenlabs has been running for almost a decade. We came up through the tail end of the big-budget TVC era, watched the industry pivot to events and influencers, watched it pivot again to always-on performance content — and we shot our way through every one of those shifts. Not as commentators. As the crew on the floor.
That history is why the AI work lands. We aren't a prompt shop that learned about advertising last year. We're filmmakers who spent ten years learning what makes a shot land, why a hook works and where a script dies — then built a generation pipeline on top of that judgement. The tools changed. The judgement didn't.
EVERY FORMAT WE'VE SHIPPED
Categories that have nothing to do with each other, in markets that have nothing to do with each other — India, the USA and the UAE. A hospital film and a superbike launch need opposite instincts. Being able to switch between them is the whole skill.
What we do
AI VISUALS — THE MAJORITY OF WHAT WE SHIP
PRODUCTION
One team covers both. No hand-off, no second vendor, one grade.
Why us
Healthcare one month, a superbike launch the next. Food, D2C, B2B, real estate, finance. India, the USA, the UAE. Most studios have one register and hope your brand fits it. Ten years across unrelated categories means we arrive already knowing what your category rewards — and what it punishes.
Creative directors, writers, filmmakers and 3D artists who make things because they can't not. Nobody here is waiting for the brief to become someone else's problem — the work gets argued over, taken home, and torn up at 2am because someone thought of something better. It shows on screen. It always does.
We test tools before they're proven, build pipelines nobody has asked for yet, and absorb the ones that don't work. That's why we were generating broadcast-usable film while the category was still debating whether it was possible. By the time a technique reaches your brief, we've already broken it a hundred times in private.
AI is a medium, not a shortcut. It lets us reach images conventional production simply cannot make, and run a brand's whole strategy at a scale and speed the feed demands. Writing, casting, direction, comedy timing, edit rhythm and grade stay with people — because that is the part an audience actually responds to.

Why our work works
Anyone can make you something beautiful. Beautiful doesn't sell. Here's what happens between the brief and the first frame.
Every category has five brands making the same claim. We go looking for the one true thing a competitor physically cannot copy — a founder's obsession, a manufacturing quirk, a stubborn point of view — and build the film on that. If the ad still works with your logo swapped out, we've failed and we'll say so.
Who's actually watching, on which feed, in what mood, with what already loaded in their head about you. A 22-year-old scrolling at midnight and a procurement head on LinkedIn need different films. We write for the person, then make it fit the format.
Downloads, add-to-carts, footfall, recall, or sheer share of attention in a launch week — decided before scripting. Every creative call after that gets measured against it. A film with no defined job is decoration, and decoration is the first thing an audience scrolls past.
Performance, comedy timing, edit rhythm, sound, grade — the craft layer most content skips. Audiences can tell the difference between something a person made and something a system assembled, and they hand over their attention accordingly. That's the whole advantage, and it's the part no tool can do for you.
No location lock, no unit, no weather. Ten scripts get made instead of one getting argued about in a room. You find out what works from the audience rather than from opinion, and the winners get scaled while the format is still hot.
What performed, what died, what the comments actually said — fed straight back into the next batch. Brands that have been with us for years aren't loyal to us. They're loyal to a loop that keeps getting sharper.
Proof
"The numbers speak for themselves" is what people say when they'd rather not show you the numbers. So — the numbers.
Lava had the problem every value-segment phone brand has: nobody finishes the ads. So we threw out the category playbook. One film follows a man deceived by his phone until he literally turns into a donkey. Another plays a pan-India blackout as a short film rather than a product demo. Both are strange enough that people watch to the end and send them on — the only distribution that has ever mattered.
District had been running conventional shoots and Meta creative. Since they moved to AI, the generated films are out-converting that older work on both conversion and app downloads — and because turnaround collapsed from weeks to days, the volume they can put into test is roughly ten times what a shot campaign ever allowed.
Marketplace content is its own discipline — the order a buyer scrolls in, the objection you answer in frame three, the single line that removes the last doubt before the tap. We rebuilt the strategy and produced the listing content across all three brands. More than eight products reached best-seller in their category within four weeks of the new content going live — on the strength of the content alone.
We run our own channels the way we'd run yours. An ordinary post clears a hundred thousand views inside a day — no promotion, no media spend, no boosting — roughly ten times what other agencies see. If we couldn't do it for ourselves, you'd be right not to believe we can do it for you.
Six-to-ten-second CPAS creatives, built to land the whole idea before a thumb moves. They return 9–10× on ad spend — well above the FMCG norm — because the format is built for impulse: watch it, want it, and tap straight through to quick commerce while the craving is still live.
An annual event drawing delegates from Oxford and Harvard and students from around the world, covered across an entire campus in three days with a large crew. Logistically the hardest thing we make — and the film is what carries the event internationally. They've trusted us with it year after year.
The brief was a hotel next to a theme park. The obvious film puts the park in the background and hopes you notice. We put the rollercoaster through the building — track running past the lobby, carriages outside the guest-room window — because that is what proximity actually feels like, and no camera on earth could have shot it. It has outperformed every other piece of content EMAAR has published for the property, and it's now one of the main reasons guests give for booking.
Rovenlabs is a decade-old film studio that went AI-first without giving up the craft. We've made TVCs, brand films, CGI, stop-motion and three-day event shoots for 100+ brands across India, the USA and the UAE — healthcare to superbikes, food to fintech, hospitality to real estate, D2C to B2B. Today most of what we ship is generated, because it lets us reach images conventional production can't make and run a brand's whole strategy at the scale and speed the feed demands. The writing, the casting, the direction and the grade still come from people who have spent ten years on set. That combination is the reason the numbers move.
